Overview

Passline O.P.U Systems is a unique, cost effective & efficient means of providing added protection for Personnel & Infrastructure. Generally a Survey pickup or a CMS of the void is conducted to establish the correct profile of the void. This information allows us to design the desired diameter Passliners to complement the indicative shape of the void. Passliners are interchangeable and of variable diameter where required. This ensures that continuous contact with the wall of the void is maintained.

Portable and re-usable alternative to Pentices, or used as a pre-pentice construction, open hole protection system

As the diagram shows, a series of Passline Balloons are raised or lowered into the void, secured and then inflated. This provides a continuous covering to the walls for the entire surface area of the void.

The system, when correctly installed, will prevent free fall of material and some rock ejection situations. Large volume low pressure and continuous air flow are a key factor. A Passline unit when inflated operates under a continuous air intake system. The continuous air supply systems ensures that the unit remains inflated even with some puncturing and leakage.

Portable, Cost Effective, Re-usable

A comprehensive monitoring alarm system is also available, this system provides audible and visual warning information at point of activity. Each Passline System is individually designed with an application rated harness and unit joining system to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency for the end user.
